Always a good meal. Tandoori anything is usually a great choice, the naan is great when warm, and the okra is really something special. Their shrimp are quite good in a variety of flavors, and although I have never tried any of their meat dishes, those i know who do partake in the eating of mammals in this establishment usually rather appreciate it! I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a very satisfying meal. Not to mention it's a great place for takeout.
Best Indian food in the region. The price is good and you get a rebate if you pick up your order. If you plan to eat there, it is a being your own wine place. But I would not recommend to stay there since the ambiance is not incredible. When you call to pre-order, you will most likely have to order in English.Everything I tried was good! I love their mango chutney and the fried onions.
We went 4 women food was great service friendly good prices $100 for 4 we had appetizers 5 curries nans and 2 different rice dishes highly recommend the Gaj
Very good food especially the naan! Owner is super friendly.
I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Gaj.I went there with my 3 year old to order for take-out. While I was ordering, the man that took my order kept trying to push me into buying other dishes, while I specified I only wanted butter chicken, a tandoori leg and naan. When I came back to pick-up, I had left my little one with her dad. The first question he asked me was: "did you leave your daughter alone in the car?" I did not appreciate his attitude at all. I took the food and paid 1-2$ extra per item compared to most of the indian restaurants that I have visited. They did not have Thumbs Up or Mirinda, or any other indian soft drink that you usually find in a restaurant like this one. I then proceeded to eating and it was such a big dissapointment! The butter chicken sauce was very watery and had so much sugar that I could barely swallow and was lacking salt completely. It was not flavourful and just didn't taste right. The tandoori leg was undercooked and extremely salty, I couldn't eat it because of that. The naan tasted good, but was paper thin. The gulab jamun that I took for dessert looked right, but inside it was al mushy and tasteless. This was a huge waste of money, time and nerves. Go somewhere else!
